Central Florida Earth Day

Want to learn more about how to protect our health, the planet and its inhabitants? Head out to the Central Florida Earth Day celebration on Saturday, April 24 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Lake Eola Park (195 N. Rosalind Avenue). The event features healthy living and eco-friendly exhibitors, a kids’ area and live music and entertainment. All money raised will be used for local environmental education and outreach. Earth Day Volunteers Needed to Clean and Green!

Join Keep Orlando Beautiful and Green Up Orlando to celebrate Earth Day's 40th Anniversary on Saturday, April 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Central Florida Fairgrounds (4603 W. Colonial Drive). We will be beautifying green spaces, planting trees and removing litter. If you have any used vehicle tires, oil or batteries, bring them with you. Tires Plus on W. Colonial Drive will be collecting them for recycling and/or proper disposal. Water, light snacks and an Earth Day T-shirt will be provided.
