Community ConnectionsNeighborhood Leadership and Volunteer TrainingIn 2004, the City of Orlando partnered with the Orange County Neighborhood Services Division to conduct a monthly Community Connections Workshop Series. The Community Connections Workshops Series consists of twelve workshops held on the second Saturday of every month at the Orange County Internal Operations Center (IOC 1) located at 450 E. South Street, generally beginning at 10 a.m. and ending by 12 p.m. Workshops are designed to engage, inform and educate citizens, and features varied topics of interest to neighborhood organizations and residents alike. The workshops are a great opportunity for neighborhood leaders to interact and learn from one another. Workshops topics are detailed in the 2009 Community Connections Workshop Calendar (MS Word).
