Curitiba, Brazil

The capital of the southern state of Paraná, Curitiba has been designated the Environmental Center of Mercosur and the Software Capital of Brazil.  Curitiba is a great example of a city that has embraced urban planning and comprehensive transit systems.  With visionary leaders and a creative, industrious workforce, Curitiba has much in common with Orlando, including a central park with swan boats.

Orlando became Sister Cities with Curitiba in 1996.
